Start with a shared-host subfolder to keep hosting costs low, then move to a subdomain or custom domain later without moving tenant data or rewriting the ROi WiFi core.

Google Sign-In & Account Recovery

Google verifies the tenant owner. ROi WiFi keeps the local password.

ROi WiFi uses Google Sign-In only to verify the identity and verified email address of a tenant owner during registration and password recovery. After Google verification, the tenant creates or resets a separate local ROi WiFi password.

Requested identity scopes are limited to OpenID, email and basic profile information.
ROi WiFi does not request access to Gmail messages, contacts, Drive files or the tenant's Google password.
Google access and refresh tokens are not retained for mailbox access.
The verified Google account is linked to the ROi WiFi tenant account to protect future password recovery.
